Legal Services of South Central Michigan (LSSCM) is seeking a Crime Victims Legal Assistance Project (CVLAP) staff attorney in our Lansing office, which serves Ingham, Eaton, Clinton, Shiawassee and Livingston Counties.  The staff attorney will provide a range of individual advocacy and impact work, including family law, housing law, consumer, and public benefits for survivors of domestic violence.

Crime Victims Legal Assistance Project (CVLAP) is seeking a Staff Attorney focused on serving survivors of domestic violence with their immigration law needs, including, but not limited to, VAWA Petitions, U-Visas, Adjustment of Status, and Work Authorization. This Staff Attorney will be housed in the Ypsilanti or Kalamazoo offices of Farmworker Legal Services and be a part of the larger statewide CVLAP program, which is comprised of lawyers who represent victims of domestic violence in a variety of civil legal proceedings, including assistance with family, housing, consumer, and public benefits law. Applicants must reside in the state of Michigan.

Crime Victims Legal Assistance Project (CVLAP) is seeking a Staff Attorney focused on serving Native American survivors of domestic violence in Northern Michigan with family law matters. This Staff Attorney will be responsible for working with clients (ranging from advice to full litigation) with civil cases in both State and Tribal Court. Although their work will be fully remote, this Attorney will be responsible for serving clients located primarily in Northern Michigan (but not in the Upper Peninsula) so applications residing in Northern Michigan are given preference.
